Who we are
Hotel Solutions Group is a membership organization for independent hotels, based in Texas, United States. We operate the Hotel Solutions Group website and the JibJab ops and guest-management product used by member hotel properties.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Phone numbers — guest mobile numbers provided for hotel stay communications via JibJab SMS.
- Message content — SMS messages sent or received through JibJab guest messaging (for example room-ready notices, front-desk requests, and feedback replies).
- Stay-related details needed to send the message — such as hotel name, room number, or reservation context supplied by the member property.
- Website contact information — if you email us (for example name and email address in a message to info@hotelsolutionsgroup.net).
- Technical data — standard web server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested when you visit our site.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide guest communications for member hotels through JibJab (for example check-in / room-ready notices, front-desk coordination, and post-stay feedback prompts).
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and messaging service.
- Respond to inquiries sent to us.
- Comply with law and carrier messaging requirements (including STOP and HELP handling).
Guest SMS is used only for communications related to the guest’s stay at the participating Hotel Solutions Group member property. We do not use guest phone numbers for unrelated marketing campaigns.
SMS / text messaging (JibJab)
When a guest provides a mobile number at reservation or check-in and consents to receive texts, the member hotel (via JibJab / Hotel Solutions Group) may send transactional guest messages about that stay. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
- STOP — Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further SMS from that program. You will receive a confirmation and messaging will stop.
- HELP — Reply HELP for help. You may also email info@hotelsolutionsgroup.net.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share guest phone numbers or message content with third parties for those parties’ own marketing.
We may share information only as needed to:
- Operate the service (for example with our SMS infrastructure provider, Twilio, acting as a processor to deliver messages).
- Serve the member hotel that collected the guest’s consent for that stay.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We retain messaging and related records only as long as needed to provide the service, meet carrier and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security logs — then delete or de-identify them when no longer needed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
- Contact us to ask questions about the information we hold related to our services.
Children
Our services are directed to hotel guests and business contacts and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of the site or messaging services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
